Action research is considered to be the ground breaking edge for improving and investigating practice. The essence of action research lies in action inquiry regarded as the systematic, continuing and empirical effort to bring improvements in practice. Current practices are enhanced through their systematic alternation between inquiry and action.
1stInternational Conference on Action Research in Multidisciplinary Perspective of Technology, Social and Business Sciences. 1st ICARMP (2018) is based on the theme of practical action research in which the researchers reflect upon their ideas and experiences make decisions best suited to their clients. The motive is to serve as an impetus for action with the reflective process of inquiry and knowledge generation, to generate new practices in multidisciplinary fields of social sciences, humanities, business and, information technology.
Keeping in view the notion of the Action Research, practitioners can gain enhanced and improved benefits by applying it to their real life workplace projects so as to realize the upgraded transformations in their own tasks and practices. It demands action research to be significantly incorporated into academic content of 'vocational' or ‘professional’ disciplines such as teaching, business, and journalism. Keeping in view the generation of knowledge by action research, it should be able to bridge both the theory into practice transition, and the practice into theory transformation through praxis based approach because it is so oriented to improving practices of the businesses.
